Project Title: Omni channel platform test for Mobile Retail

Project Description

Innovare Design Ltd is a design consultancy specialising in interiors, branding and graphics for the retail sector. Product Interaction provides human centred design services to the design and technology sectors.

In another London Fusion project completed Innovare Design identified a need for strategic development and a substantial culture change within their business which was to embrace omni-channel retailing and how this impacted the in-store customer experience. The ‘Mediatised technology platform’ developed by Product Interaction and Goldsmiths had been identified as key technology which could enable Innovare Design to achieve this objective developing value added services to offer their retail clients.

This project was designed to deliver a pilot campaign which was offered to a key client of Innovare Design. The Mediatised technology platform was particularly well suited to the retail environments Innovare Design work with – airport retail spaces where the international retail environments are tightly controlled. This project responded to Innovare Design’s research findings regarding omni-channel and their subsequent R&D strategy for it’s business, and through the project gained rapid knowledge acquisition regarding the technological impact to their retail services offering, increasing the value offer to their clients.
