What is Creativeworks London and how can it benefit my business.

Creativeworks London is one of four major AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council) funded Knowledge Exchange hubs in the UK. It has been established to help bring together the capital’s cultural and creative industries with its research community to develop unique collaborations that will in turn make vital contributions and innovations to London’s creative economy.

The project is shaped by three main themes which are: Digital Economy, Audiences and London: Place-Work-Knowledge. Creativeworks London is a network of 39 partners led by Queen Mary, University of London and The Culture Capital Exchange.

I want to access specialised research knowledge.

Creativeworks London is running a four year programme of activities to support new forms of exchange and collaborative research. It has been set up to run several key initiatives to support access to and support from the research community. In addition to networking events, these include: Ideas Pools, Creative Voucher Fund, PhD-In-Residence Scheme and Creative Entrepreneurs-In-Residence Scheme.

I want to explore emerging ideas, trends, markets and business opportunities

You might wish to find out more about our Ideas Pools. These happen several times per year and bring people together around specific themes with a view to developing project ideas and partnerships between academics and creative/cultural organisations. These partnerships can then apply for Creative Voucher Funding.
