Join the Intellectual Property Office as we bring together experts and entrepreneurs who will share their knowledge to help you enable businesses to understand, protect and exploit their Intellectual Property (IP).

We want businesses to be able to recognise and make money from the IP that they own. As a business advisor you work with your clients to help them take a strategic approach to their IP. This enables them to make informed decisions and manage what can be their most valuable asset and the risks associated with it.

We are delighted to announce that at the conference:

Mandy Haberman, successful British inventor and entrepreneur, will deliver the keynote speech. Mandy has won many awards including UK Female Inventor of the Year (2000), UK Millennium Product and Mother and Baby Magazine Silver Award for the Anywayup Smiley Cup in the Mealtime category 2001/2.

You will also have the opportunity to pose your questions about exporting, branding, patenting, licensing, franchising and growth to our guest panel entrepreneurs from successful IP rich businesses.

Dr Andrew Mackintosh, Chair of Sphere Fluidics Limited will be facilitating this session. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in publicly and privately owned high-technology businesses.

The second part of the morning will be a little different. We will be setting aside the traditional conference structure and following the format of an un-conference. This will be structured and led by you, the people attending, about real challenges and issues that you face.
