Kate Ryder, a pianist renowned for pushing the boundaries of herinstrument, presents a concert of recent works for piano and cutting edge technology. Featuring works for piano and “pnoscan” by Oded Ben Tal and Tim Ewers, a world premiere using wearable technology by Diana Salazar, two new etudes by the American composer Cindy Cox and Tombeau de Messiaen a classic work by the late Jonathan Harvey.

Kate Ryder was awarded a Creativeworks London Creative Entrepreneur in Residence award during Round 2 for her project Creating a super-piano: exploring interfaces between old and new technologies for performer, composer and audience’.
