August 20, 2015 4:00 pm
Free, booking required
July 22, 2015
British Library Business & IP Centre
96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB, United Kingdom

Making a commercial success of a new business idea is all about making informed decisions. The key to making these decisions is finding and using information and the Business & IP Centre has much of the information you will need.

This workshop will help you to identify the information you need and the types of business information resource that you can use to find it. It will outline key information sources held in in major library collections like those of the Business & IP Centre as well as those freely available on the web.

It will also help you to plan and prioritise research. The workshop is aimed at both those who are new to business research and those with some experience but who would like tips on how they can conduct their research more effectively.

Who should attend? This event is open to entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, pre-start businesses and anyone who is interested in researching companies.
