2015 has been touted by many observers as the year in which Wearable tech will really take off as a consumer proposition. But it’s so much more than that already, as was evidenced by the range of partners IC tomorrow worked with on our earlier Wearable technologies innovation contest.
Given the significant interest in that contest from a wide range of companies we are now following up with an additional networking opportunity for companies with existing innovative products and services in the Wearable tech space to be able to meet with an even broader range of industry partners.
The most innovative companies who apply will be invited to this evening session which provides a unique opportunity to meet with a number of leading brands and companies in one-to-one sessions. Confirmed participants currently include Amey, Intel, glh Hotels (interested in Wearable tech in the hotels and hospitality space), Ogilvy (one of the world’s top global advertising and marketing agencies), Holition (an agency interested in fashion and wearable tech that would appeal to luxury brands) and Publicis Life Brands (a healthcare focused advertising agency working with pharmaceutical clients likes Novartis and Abbott who are interested in wearables in health and well being).
Getting through the door of the larger brands can be a real barrier to growth for smaller companies. The speed networking format has been designed to help to connect start-ups and SMEs with larger commercial partners which can then lead on to successful commercial partnerships. We are offering up to 15 places for the most innovative digital companies working within wearable technology the chance to connect with these major brands.

Closing date for applications is 12 noon Wednesday 6 May 2015.
