Join Golant Media Ventures, in collaboration with SpaceportX, in Manchester on 30 April for a workshop on funding for innovation for creative enterprises.

Funding is not just a matter of applying for the right grant. We will also introduce you to business models that maximise the value of your content, data and other intellectual property – making the case to attract funding and creating products and services that will help your organisation grow. You’ll have the chance to network with others and hear real, down-to-earth case studies that will help you navigate this confusing landscape.

You will learn how to:

  • Use business models to realise the full value of your content, data and other IP.
  • Use support from GrowthAccelerator (now part of the Business Growth Service) and Innovation Vouchers from Innovate UK to access the expertise you need to transform your organisation.
  • Find Creative Europe, Horizon 2020, and other EU funding.
  • Find grants from Creative England and Innovate UK.
  • Attract private finance at every stage of growth.

Speakers will include:

  • Patrick Towell, Chief Executive of Golant Media Ventures
  • Brian Dormand, on behalf of GrowthAccelerator – now part of the Business Growth Service
  • James Bedford, Senior Programme Manager, Creative England
  • As well as representatives from the Intellectual Property Office and the world of private finance.

There is a £15 registration fee which will cover the included lunch.
