Following from our pre-event at The National Archives and in partnership with London Creative and Digital Fusion, Creativeworks London are delighted to be hosting its 5th Creative Voucher Ideas Pool on the theme of Archives.

The Ideas Pool is an intensive afternoon of discussion and dialogue aimed at bringing together academics and researchers from the Creativeworks London partnership with creative sector SMEs interested in the theme of archives with a view to developing applications for the 5th round of Creativeworks London Creative Vouchers.

The main aims of the event will be to:

• Provide an information sharing and networking opportunity for cultural, creative and creative digital sectors with their own archives or an interest in working with other archives for research or other purposes.
• Provide an opportunity for archivists or people who are responsible for archiving to connect with academic expertise
• Provide an opportunity for Creativeworks London partner academics to develop collaborative research with creative sector partners

Topics for consideration will include:

• The increasing digitising of cultural assets to create archives
• The potential to link archives to consumers and other interested parties
• Digital curation in its widest sense
• Archives preservation
• Informal or hidden/unrecognised archives
• Archives as assets

Space is limited and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To book your place, please email with your responses to the questions at the bottom of this page.
