In partnership with London Creative and Digital Fusion, Creativeworks London is delighted to be hosting its 7th Creative Voucher Ideas Pool on the theme of ‘Joining the dots: network building for the creative economy.’

The Ideas Pool is an intensive afternoon of discussion and dialogue aimed at bringing together academics and SMEs who have an interest in this theme and who may also be interested in applying for the 7th round of Creativeworks London Creative Vouchers.

There is an assumption that the ‘linking/sustaining/supporting’ activities to develop and grow networks in the creative and cultural industries will ‘just happen’; and are in the DNA of how this sector operates. Very clearly, and in many cases, they do not. This Creative Vouchers round and Ideas Pool is to help SMEs build better networks.

We are looking for projects that are seeking to join the dots, for example:

  • Examining how needs are mapped, or identified.
  • Practical means of bridging gaps between project based and regular enterprises, between formal and informal activities, between for profit and not for profit activities, and between SMEs and larger organizations.
  • How are micro-enterprise and sole-trader networks sustained, can they be made more resilient?
  • Which activities are of the most value to ‘join the dots’?

Space is limited and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To book your place, please email info@cwlondon.org.uk with your responses to the questions at the bottom of this page.
