Coding is as much a lifestyle as it is a source of employment – 45% of developers spend more than five hours per week outside of their day-jobs programming, either as a hobby or working on open source software.

Many mid-career programmers are looking for fresh inspiration and the Code Creators Summit aims to provide an injection of passion and purpose, by demonstrating what can be possible when art and technology collide for the benefit of society. Speakers at the Summit will include Julia Farrington from the Belarus Free Theatre on Censorship in regressive regimes and Turkish playwright Meltem Arikan.

Following the success of our recent sold-out events on Innovation in Cyber Security and Blockchain: Beyond FinTech, this Digital Catapult conference on Tuesday 24 May will bring together senior developers working in software and web services with data-artists, writers, creative technologists and designers for an inspiring day of discussion, networking and potential collaboration on projects that might just change the world.

Places for this free event are extremely limited, so please register your interest here.
