August 12, 2015 6:00 pm
July 29, 2015
Cass Business School (Room: 2002)
106 Bunhill Row, London , EC1Y 8TZ, United Kingdom

Driverless electric cars, connected homes, artificial intelligence and no need for cash and a wallet anymore. What does the future look like in 5 years from now? Economic growth in the developed economies will rely more and more on entrepreneurial activities with a focus on digital technology. Oldstreet roundabout has developed into a start-up scene in London with many new internet companies setting up their offices in this former neglected part of London. Most aspiring entrepreneurs think about building the next billion dollar company. However, it’s easy to get caught up in envisioning your business going viral before it has even made a single dollar. This summer’s conference focuses on how to bridge the expectation gap between entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to help build a business with a sustainable revenue model. We will look at challenges and opportunities worldwide based on recent examples, thereby touching also upon the fundraising and marketing aspects of creating a high growth business.
