Building sustainable business models in arts venues and arts organisationsFebruary 18, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pmUniversity of the Arts London is one of the partners in a practical European research project that aims to help arts organisations develop sustainable strategies to thrive in the current environment. One focus is on how innovative arts venues and performing arts organisations develop their business models. We would like to invite people who have experience of leading or advising an arts organisation to share their business models and organisational strategies in a half-day workshop in London. It will bring together people from innovative UK arts venues and performing arts companies to share expertise and perspectives. Confirmed project participants so far include Village Underground, The Place, Union Chapel, Furtherfield, Arcola, The Yard, Corsica Studios, The Horse Hospital and the Proud Archivist. Discussion from the workshop will feed into a toolkit and training for arts venues, funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. Lunch provided. Travel expenses can be claimed back from UAL on production of receipts if your organisation is based outside the Greater London area. Chaired by Lucy Kimbell, Director, Innovation Insights Hub, University of the Arts London Reserve your place now If you are not able to attend but still want to contribute your perspective or join the project mailing list, please also get in touch. |
