Artful Spark #03 Sensors

Artful Spark is back! The third in this series of quarterly events about cross-discipline collaboration arrives at the Barbican to discuss sensors and the senses. Hear from the creative and technical forces behind Tate Sensorium, Bare Conductive’s Touch Board, Bristol’s Pervasive Media Studio and the public engagement renegades Umbrellium.

We’ve got:

  • Tom Pursey from Flying Object talking senses and sensors following their sell-out project, Tate Sensorium
  • Ling Tan from Umbrellium: architect, designer, coder, maker of magical machines and curious prototypes
  • Tarim, the legendary Pervasive Media Studio technologist, sharing and demo-ing some weird and wonderful sensors to get you started
  • Matt Johnson from Bare Conductive using conductive paint and capacitive touch hardware to radically re-imagine electronics.
