TCCE: Impossible Partnership #2Parity of Access The Culture Capital Exchange (TCCE) is delighted to announce a brand new initiative called Impossible Partnerships: a series of small-scale, informal, convivial meetings, created to boost the Knowledge Exchange potential of collaborative projects and topics. Throughout the year, we will seek to map common trends among research practitioners and entrepreneurs. Once an overarching topic is identified, we create an event to tackle it from a variety of angles and reinterpret it through the eyes of a diverse array of practitioners. As a result, our hopes are that an aggregate of collaborative networks will thrive, develop across institutions, and outreach beyond the academy. Parity of Access: We would like to invite you to this gathering, to talk about Parity of Access in the arts. The original idea sprouted from a collaborative project, led by Prof David Osbon (UWL) and Alex Evans (KUL). We will be talking about multi-modal access (streaming, radio, TV, etc.), but there is an overarching theme of ‘accessibility’ to the arts. We would very much welcome your voice on this matter, to understand its hidden facets, and to make sure that we approach this topic from many different perspectives. Your expertise and point of view will make a very important contribution to this process. TCCE: is a network of 13 Higher Education Institutions that works to develop creative research collaborations and knowledge exchange between its research community and the cultural and creative sectors.
