SME support: call in London

The primary aim of this call is to improve the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises by increasing the capacity and capability of small and medium sized enterprises and promoting entrepreneurship. A range of Investment Priorities will support this:

These are:

– Promoting entrepreneurship, in particular by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and fostering the creation of new firms, including through business incubators. Particularly in areas with low levels of enterprise activity and amongst underrepresented groups.

– Supporting the creation and the extension of advanced capacities for products, services and development.

– Supporting the capacity of small and medium sized enterprises to grow in regional, national and international markets and to engage in innovation processes.

Value
Up to £17 million value of funding is available through this call. A minimum value of £500,000 of funding can be applied for.

Creativeworks London is one of four Knowledge Exchange Hubs for the Creative Economy funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to develop strategic partnerships with creative businesses and cultural organisations, to strengthen and diversify their collaborative research activities and increase the number of arts and humanities researchers actively engaged in research-based knowledge exchange.
