Literary Translation – Call for funding

The call for Literary Translation has now been published, this funding opportunity supports publishers and publishing houses to translate literary works from one European language into another, in order to encourage new audiences and promote cultural exchange. Grants of up to €100,000 are available for a slate of 3-10 works of fiction.

– Look through funded projects by UK publishers
– Read through the new guidelines and the guides for applicants and for experts
– Attend a free application workshop on Tuesday 29 March in London where we’ll go through the application form and the budget in detail
– If you can’t make it to London, look out for details about an application workshop webinar that will be broadcast across the UK
– We offer free advice and support to applicants from the UK so get in touch to discuss your application in person, over the phone or via Skype.
