Creativeworks London Job Opportunity: Knowledge Exchange Co-ordinator

Creativeworks London is a £4.8 million AHRC-funded Knowledge Exchange (KE) Hub which aims to help Arts and Humanities researchers make a significant contribution to London’s Creative Economy. It is a partnership of London higher education institutions (HEIs), cultural organisations, and creative industry companies, based at Queen Mary University of London (Mile End Campus) and Somerset House (The Culture Capital Exchange). Creativeworks London aims to bring creative people together to explore the issues that impact on London’s creative economy and to facilitate exciting new collaborations.

Creativeworks London is currently looking to recruit a Creativeworks London Knowledge Exchange Co-ordinator, reporting into the Creativeworks London Heads of Knowledge Exchange Evelyn Wilson and Suzie Leighton, based at Somerset House, who will be responsible for liaising between the partners and coordinating the Knowledge Exchange Programme activities.

The post is full time until the 31st May 2016 (starting from 01 January 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter), with a salary of £35,319. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.

Creativeworks London is one of four Knowledge Exchange Hubs for the Creative Economy funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to develop strategic partnerships with creative businesses and cultural organisations, to strengthen and diversify their collaborative research activities and increase the number of arts and humanities researchers actively engaged in research-based knowledge exchange.
