Creative & Cultural Skills National Conference 2016 – Building a Creative Nation: Putting Skills to Work

Booking now open for Creative & Cultural Skills National Conference 2016 – Building a Creative Nation: Putting Skills to Work. 

Darren Henley, the chief executive of Arts Council England (ACE), is to give keynote speech.

Darren took over the post from Alan Davey in December 2014 after 22 years at Classic FM and is the author of Cultural Education in England. On 3rd March 2016, Creative & Cultural Skills National Conference will bring together leaders from across the creative industries for a day of learning, inspiration and debate.

Following Creative & Cultural Skills campaign ‘Building a Creative Nation: Putting Skills to Work’, the National Conference will feature leaders from government, industry and education as there champion the success of getting young people into work and training in the creative industries.

Delegates from across business and education will debate the impact of nurturing skills and talent, as there celebrate the employers and young people who have participated in the thousands of jobs created by the Creative Employment Programme.
