Creativeworks London Creative Voucher Round Seven: Awards AnnouncedWe are delighted to announce that Creativeworks London in partnership with London Creative and Digital Fusion have awarded the seventh round of our Creative Voucher Scheme. This is the biggest of Creativeworks London three initiatives with £1 million pounds worth of vouchers to be given out to support creative and cultural companies to develop collaborative research projects with an academic partner around one of Creativeworks London’s research themes. The theme for the seventh round of vouchers was Joining the Dots: Network building for the Creative Economy. Exploring the assumption that the ‘linking/sustaining/supporting’ activities to develop and grow networks in the creative and cultural industries will ‘just happen’; and are in the DNA of how this sector operates. Very clearly, and in many cases, they do not. This round of vouchers was to help SMEs build better networks. The awards have gone to seven, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and will support London’s businesses and academics in developing projects to ultimately have a positive effect on London’s Creative Economy. We would like to congratulate: Awardees: Emilie Giles, Codasign and Dr Tessa Whitehouse, Queen Mary University of London Awardees: Mary Paterson, Drake Music and Dr Tony Stockman, Queen Mary University of London Awardees: Basil Safwat, Minified Ltd and Professor Sandy Black, London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London Awardees: Emily Druiff, Peckham Platform and Dr Sophie Hope, Birkbeck, University of London Awardees: Emilia Plotka, Royal Institute of British Architects and Geoffery Makstutis Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London Awardees: Hannah Litvack, Seeper Ltd and Dr George Buchanan, City University London Awardees: Zoë Tynan-Campbell, Stumped Studio and Karen Richmond, Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London
