British Library Business & IP Centre shortlisted for Great British Entrepreneur Awards

British Library are delighted to announce that our Business & IP Centre in London has been shortlisted as 2014 finalist for The Great British Entrepreneur Awards!

The Centre supports entrepreneurs and innovators from that first spark of inspiration to successfully launching and growing a business. Since launching in 2006, we have welcomed over 400,000 people through the doors.

Turning dreams into reality and greatly increasing chances of success, we give people, from all walks of life, the skills and confidence to run a thriving business with free and affordable access to our information, expertise and networks.

This is one of many reasons why we have been shortlisted in the category of Entrepreneurs Champion of the Year.

The winners of the Awards will be announced during at a glamourous Awards Ceremony, taking place on Wednesday 19 November in the prestigious Old Billingsgate (London). The ceremony will celebrate entrepreneurs who embody a spirit of disruption, innovation and enterprise.

The Awards  recognise business leaders from multiple industries across the 20 awards categories, including Digital, Young, Social Enterprise and three new categories Food and Drink, Fashion and Media Disruptors, with one entrepreneur being championed the ‘Great British Entrepreneur of the Year’.
