ASSET: Archive Sector Enterprise Training (ASSET) ProjectThe aim of the ASSET project is to provide archive sector professionals with skills necessary to contribute to achieving the BFI Film Forever strategic priority ‘Unlocking the UK’s Film Heritage’. The objectives of the course are:- • To strengthen business skills within the archive sector, particularly those necessary for monetising digital content. Course participants will have become better able to contribute towards wider access to the UK’s archive content and appreciate its value and potential. Businesses in which course participants work will be more resilient and able to grow through identifying and exploiting opportunities existing in digital archives. Course participants will gain:- • business skills specifically applicable to the archive sector Modules The course will consist of a number of two-day taught modules delivered by recognised experts in the field, between October 2015 and March 2016. Indicative module titles are as follows:- • Digital Asset Management We are delighted to announce Module 1.
