Fighting flatness – selecting the physical in the age of digital

From translucent concrete to fish leather, Fighting flatness will display a collection of curious materials for you to stroke, poke and fondle.

A Creativeworks London Creative Entrepreneur-in-Residence collaboration between Kingston University London and Materials Council, ‘Fighting flatness’ investigated how physical materials libraries paired with digital tools can best assist in educating and inspiring creatives in their practice. Ian Hunter, director of Materials Council, will be on-hand to discuss the materials and the wider aims of the project.
